Adam Jewell

Height - 6'5"

Birth Date - June 24, 1975
Education - El Camino College
Home Town - Redondo Beach, CA

Jewell started playing volleyball at South Torrance High School and advanced his abilities at El Camino College. He was recruited by the University of Hawaii. Adam continued his training on the beaches of Southern California and began playing full-time on the AVP Tour in 1998. Adam did well right away. After getting a 7th place finish and several 9th place finishes with Lee LeGrande, Jewell finished his 1998 rookie year with a career high 5th place finish in San Diego playing with Brent Doble. Jewell started the 1999 AVP season ranked 38th and by the end he advanced to 21st. In 1999, Jewell had several 7th and 9th place AVP finishes and he finished the year with a 5th at the Manhattan Beach Open playing for the first time with Eduardo Bacil (Anjinho). In 2001, he finished 2nd in Virginia Beach and 3rd in Huntington Beach.

Jewell achieved the jump from 38th to 21st ranking in 1999, and then moved to 14th in 2001. He finished the 2002 season in the top ten, and had continued success in 2003; finishing 3rd in the Hermosa Open on NBC. In 2004, Jewell finished 1st in Austin, 2nd in Belmar, and finished the year ranked 2nd in points. Adam is now an established player and is well recognized on the AVP Tour.

Known for his huge block, this 6'8" phenom is poised to become the AVP Rookie of the Year.

Regarded as a nice guy, fiery competitor, and a hard worker with a lot of heart, John has been climbing his way onto the AVP Tour since 2000. He splits duties between the beach and his "other" career as a top account executive for one of the nation's largest transportation providers.

John has "GUERRA" tattooed on his back in memory of his beloved mother.

Widely known as The Hov, Tim Hovland has 60 open wins to his credit!

Out of those 60 open wins, 51 came when The Hov was playing with Mike Dodd. There are only two other teams in the history of the AVP that had this kind of dominance Š Sinjin Smith/Randy Stoklos and Karch Kiraly/Kent Steffes

Susan Steinmetz

As a surfer for the past seventeen years, I have developed a style and repertoire of maneuvers that I have honed in the breaks growing up around my home in Palos Verdes, and abroad. I have gained my contest experience first through high school contests and then later in the NSSA. I surf regularly in NSSA southwest and various Pro-Am contests with solid results.

Brad Torsone

Brad Torsone began playing volleyball in college at Syracuse University. Torsone earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was also a Dean’s list graduate. Upon graduation he moved to the West Coast in order to pursue his dream as a pro beach volleyball player. Torsone was selected to participate in the 1999 Pan American Games in only his second season on the beach. Torsone was also selected as a GM ‘Team behind the Team’ Olympic Hopeful athlete.
