Bill Sigler's Beach Volleyball Classes - start 9/2 & 9/4

The last Thurs class till March begins on 9/2, and the first Saturday Class begins on 9/4. Beginning Class is focused on learning the game, ball control and basic skills like passing and setting. The Intermediate and Advanced Classes are a little more accelerated with the focus being hand setting, defense, hitting and shots, side out strategies as well as jump and speed training. Besides improving your game and getting in some good cardio, you'll also make lots of new friends. Former class attendees have won at all levels of VB ventures and the CBVA. After class everyone goes to Sharkeez for free pitchers, drink and food specials. Instructors: Bill Sigler, former AAA rated player whose resume includes over 15 years teaching beach and indoor volleyball as well as top rated indoor and beach pros assisting classes. 10th Annual 80's Open Smackfest Tourney - at 9/25

Dress as your favorite 80's TV character, rock star, or just break out the Neon colored t's and 3" inseam volley shorts - we are rocking the 80's south of the Hermosa Pier on Sat. 9/25. Standard Smackfest rules apply, drink specials at Sharkeez all day with the post party at Sangria starting at 8pm (free buffet, drink specials, and more). Smackfest in July had 900 participants and sold out a week before the event - this event can only hold 150 people, so signup soon below. For more info, email Bill@SmackSportswear.com.

This day also coincides with the Coastal Cleanup Day, so we can all lend a hand cleaning up the beach before/droning/after the event !!.
