Donald Suxho, the son of a former Albanian National Team setter, grew up in communist Albania where his family made their own food and clothing. At a very young age, Donald also set for their national team, but as communism fell, the family decided to move to Boston, MA. He then received a scholarship to USC, became the AVCA Player of the Year, and this past summer was instrumental in the US team's huge comeback against Greece in the Olympics. Brook Billings and Dave McKenzie led very different lives from Donald. Brook grew up in Santa Barbara, played for USC, and formed an awesome 1-2 punch with Clay Stanley on the 2004 Olympic Team (Click Here). Dave, who also grew up in So. CA, was a standout at Long Beach St., trained with the National Team but was the last player to be left off the Olympic Team. All 3 are presently overseas playing in pro leagues.
