March 3-4 Weekend Wrap-Up

WEEKEND RECAP: The Steeltown Smash Tournament at Cool Springs Sports Complex in Pittsburgh, PA welcomed 75 teams from the US & Canada this past weekend. Smack hosted the event and set up the Smack Photo Booth so all players, coaches, and parents had the opportunity to get there pictures taken! BALL SPORTS ACADEMY: GRAND OPENING

The Ball Sports Academy was officially opened with a ribbon cutting on Saturday in Angola, Indiana. Indoor Volleyball Olympic Gold Medalist Lloy Ball designed the facility to host three full-sized volleyball courts with a warm-up/ spectator area, surrounded by a 2,500 sq. ft. Parkview Sports Medicine Therapy Center, Strength Training room with Olympic lifting rack and free weights, Wet room containing the CET CryoSpa offered by Hudson Aquatic, BodyWoRx massage group, and a Pro Shop for all your BSA gear.

This year BSA will be hosting 18 junior tournaments, four weeks of summer camp, an adult league in the fall, two professional events and the Lloy Ball Classic.

We cannot be more excited for this grand opening because it will allow every individual of all ages to compete, train and develop physically and mentally as athletes, and recover all under one roof. Now that’s awesome.
