Jenny Kropp Comeback

Smack athlete Jenny Kropp will be making a comeback for the last three AVP events. Find her in Hermosa this Friday playing with partner Janelle Allen as the 5th seed in the Main Draw Bracket.

Smack is more than thrilled to have this amazing athlete competing in Smack gear right in our own backyard. Kropp said, “I have worn Smack for the past four seasons, and it’s the only suit I would ever wear to compete!”

Kropp has competed and won in her high-performance Smack Sportswear bikinis both domestically and internationally for years. She found consistent success on both the AVP and NORCECA tours, highlighted by a 1st place win in the AVP Chicago in 2015 year with partner Nicole Branagh. The 6’2″ star from Grand Island, Nebraska also led the AVP in blocks per set at 1.31 during the 2015 season.

Kropp stopped competing due to a torn meniscus in each knee, one of which is bone on bone and prevents her from practicing. However, Kropp has decided to give the last three AVP tournaments a go, and play the sport she loves in front of her kids and South Bay supporters. 

We’re sure Kropp won’t be rusty for long. She will definitely be a player to watch this weekend, and we’re thrilled to have her back in custom Smack Sportswear bikinis.
